Arabic Course

LEVELS: 3 DURATION: 72 Hours

  Level 1 :

Duration : 24 Hours.        

   By the end of this level, the student will have learned:

• Shapes and sounds of Arabic letters.
• Distinguish between similar letters.
• Knowing the vowel movements of the letters fatha, kasra, dhammah .
• Reading words which were taken from the Qur’an up to +186 words

  Level 2 :

Duration : 24 Hours.        

  By the end of this level, the student will have learned:

• Arabic letters with sukoon
• Madd Letters (Alif, Yaa, Waw).
• Words with Tanween.
• The letters with the Shaddah .
• The hamzat al-wasl and the hamzat al-qat’.
• Laam At-Ta'reef.
• Al-Hamza.
• Mastering reading and writing.
• A linguistic sum of up to 1272 words and 23 verses.

Level 3 :

Duration : 24 Hours.        

This level consists of applying and reading from the Qur’an only. Within three months, the student will have read a large part of the Qur’an (Between 2 and a half to 3 Between 2 and a half to 3 juz' of the Qur’an) and will be proficient in reading.

LEVELS: 2 DURATION: 144 Hours

  Level 1 :

Duration : 72 Hours.        

   By the end of this level, the student will have learned:

Language Skills:

• Master personal and possessive pronouns.
• Master common verbs like "eat, drink, sleep, go."
• Master common nouns like "book, pen, school, house."
• Expand vocabulary to 200 words in various areas.
• Understand simple sentences (5-10 words).
• Write simple sentences (5-10 words).

 Communication Skills:

• Introduce oneself and others.
• Ask and answer simple questions.
• Use common phrases like "hello, thank you, please."

 Cultural Skills:

• Get familiar with some Arabic customs and traditions.
• Learn about some Arabic holidays.

  Level 2 :

Duration : 72 Hours.        

  By the end of this level, the student will have learned:

 Language Skills:

• Master more common verbs.
• Master more common nouns.
• Expand vocabulary to 400 words in various areas.
• Understand longer and more complex sentences (10-15 words).
• Write longer and more complex sentences (10-15 words).

 Communication Skills:

• Participate in short conversations about simple topics.
• Understand spoken Arabic in basic contexts (short conversations with classmates).

 Cultural Skills:

• Gain a deeper understanding of Arabic culture (customs, traditions, and values).

LEVELS: 2 DURATION: 208 Hours

  Level 1 :

Duration : 104 Hours.        

   By the end of this level, the student will have learned:

Language Skills:

• Master 100 forms of the past tense.
• Mastering the dual forms in 20 nouns.
• Master 5 types of sentences.
• Mastering 10 letters of Jarrah.
• Expanding vocabulary to 500 new words in various fields.
• Understand the structure of written Arabic and extract information from short texts (100-200 words).
• Write short sentences (5-10 words) about familiar topics.

 Communication Skills:

• Participate in basic conversations about everyday situations (5-10 minutes).
• Understand spoken Arabic in simple contexts (short conversations with classmates).

 Cultural Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Arabic language culture (customs, traditions, and holidays).

  Level 2 :

Duration : 104 Hours.        

  By the end of this level, the student will have learned:

 Language Skills:

• Master 150 past tense forms.
• Mastering 10 imperative forms.
• Mastering basic audio phenomena.
• Master 15 running characters.
• Expanding vocabulary to 700 new words in various fields.
• Understand longer, more complex texts (200-300 words).
• Write short paragraphs (10-20 words) on familiar topics.

 Communication Skills:

• Participate in longer, more complex conversations (10-20 minutes).
• Understanding spoken Arabic in diverse contexts (conversations with people from different backgrounds).

 Cultural Skills:

• A deeper understanding of Arab culture (customs, traditions, and values).

LEVELS: 2 DURATION: 112 Hours

  Level 1 :

Duration : 56 Hours.        

   By the end of this level, the student will have learned:

Language Skills:

• Master present tense, imperative, and some phonetic phenomena like merging and glottal stop.
• Master additional prepositions.
• Expand vocabulary to 800 words in various areas.
• Understand longer and more complex texts (300-400 words).
• Write short paragraphs (20-30 words) on familiar topics.

 Communication Skills:

• Participate in longer and more complex conversations (20-30 minutes).
• Understand spoken Arabic in various contexts (conversations with people from different backgrounds).
• Write short letters (50-100 words) on various topics.

 Cultural Skills:

• Gain a deeper understanding of Arabic culture (customs, traditions, and values).
• Learn about some prominent Arabian figures.

  Level 2 :

Duration : 56 Hours.        

  By the end of this level, the student will have learned:

 Language Skills:

• Master past and future tense conjugations, and additional phonetic phenomena like definite article and nunation.
• Master additional prepositions.
• Expand vocabulary to 1000 words in various areas.
• Understand longer and more complex texts (400-500 words).
• Write longer paragraphs (30-40 words) on familiar topics.

 Communication Skills:

• Participate in discussions on various topics.
• Deliver short presentations.
• Write short essays (100-200 words) on various topics.

 Cultural Skills:

• A deeper understanding of Arab culture (customs, traditions, and values).
• Identify some prominent Arabic literary works.
